The PAC 555 Med is a continuous vertical band sealer intended for medical and other critical packaging applications which require precise control of all sealing process parameters. The 555 Med is a fully validatable medical band sealer and is designed to comply with the guidelines of ISO 11607 standards. External verification ports allow for verification and calibration of internal controllers for ease of the IQ/OQ process. The 555 Med features PAC’s real-time monitoring system with alarm lockout function to prevent operation when there is a deviation from validated settings.
This continuous vertical validatable medical band sealer features independent digital temperature controllers for each sealing bar, for optimal seal integrity with Tyvek®, poly, foils, laminates, and a variety of other pouch materials. The 555 Med is adjustable in speed from 150 – 400 inches per minute by a digital speed controller with readout and alarm identification. The sealing head height is cracking adjustable to a position based on the operator, conveyor, and environmental requirements.
The 555 Med is intended for vertical sealing applications, but the head is easily rotated to accommodate horizontal packaging applications as well. The sealing head overhang allows for centering over an existing conveyor or using the integrated conveyor. The 555 Medical Band Sealer is ideal for high-speed medical pouch sealing applications.
