The Vertrod PS Med impulse sealer is designed for medical applications requiring heavy-duty sealing of wide materials that require validation. These sealers are generally used in manual packaging or fabricating applications, but can also be utilized in conjunction with more automated machinery. The PS Med pouch sealer is capable of making hermetic seals with temperatures ranging from 200°F to 650°F. The welded structural steel tubular frame provides the stability necessary to make seals up to 120″ long and seal widths up to 3/4 inches wide. Open-back construction allows the user to operate the machine from the front or rear of the sealer,as well as providing the pass-through ability for an uninterrupted flow of the film. This machine is equipped with the PAC’s medical control system. It is a precise temperature-based system with real-time monitoring of all sealing parameters for applications requiring seal validation. Built-in alarm functions prevent operation when outside of validated settings. External verification ports provide for calibration of controllers.
